It was announced on Monday that Niantic will finally add online matchmaking and battle systems. This new system has been named as the “GO Battle League”. Its launch date is set in the early days of 2020.
This feature allows the players to have a battle with other players from all across the globe. By using this matchmaking system, the players will also enter a ranked league system.
The previous Trainer Battle system was only with battles between players who were near each other.
