Leak: Call of Duty Modern Warfare Has Around 3-4 DLCs in Plan

Activision and Infinity Ward are no strangers when it comes to DLCs. Bringing extra content behind a paywall a strong monetization method, especially if the game is performing well. Knowing that Modern Warfare is the most successful of the franchise, DLCs are also planned to arrive. Now, this info doesn’t necessarily mean they will release or be announced in the near future, but data miners have discovered several strings that could be connected to upcoming CoD: MW DLCs.

More precisely, a known Apex Legends data miner who has transferred his focus to Modern Warfare, known as That1MiningGuy, had found strings possibly related to upcoming CoD: Modern Warfare DLCs. At first look, they look like a placeholder for what’s to come. The number of lines implies that 3 or 4 DLCs are scheduled to come to Modern Warfare.

The strings are labeled as CODMWTHEDLC10001, CODMWTHEDLC10002, and so on, as per the image of his most recent tweet. The strings for the third DLC are apparently missing, and the file can be changed at any given time by Infinity Ward. Below you can find the leaked info.

If this statement turns out to be true, Infinity Ward may aim for an excessive longer Modern Warfare lifetime, as the DLCs most probably won’t release at a short time span.
