Pokemon Go How Trade Evolution Works and Pokemon that Benefit from Trading

2020 will be a good year for Pokemon Go. We already got a big update that included new Pokemon and a new mechanic, called Trade Evolution. The fans, including myself, are getting to know this exciting feature, but it is not something new in the mainline Pokemon games.
This is a great feature if you want to deduce a large number of candies needed to evolve your favorite Pokemon. Currently, there are eight Pokemon that are available for the Trade Evolution and you can find the list below.
Trade Evolution allows trading Pokemon which will result in NO CANDY COST to evolve after trading them.
Trade Evolution Pokemon
- Kadabra
- Machoke
- Graveler
- Haunter
- Boldore
- Gurdurr
- Karrablast
- Shelmet
If you guys are wondering whether a Pokemon that is in the list above, that you got it through a trade before this update is qualified for a Trade Evolution, do not worry, it is.
Another thing that is new and exciting is that we are finally getting new Gen 5 Pokemon. Starting from January 10, you will have the chance to encounter the following Pokemon in the wild:
- Boldore
- Roggenrola
- Karrablast
- Dwebble
- Joltik
- Shelmet
- Trubbish
the following Unova Pokemon from Eggs:
- Venipede
- Temple
- Tirtouga
- Archen
- Axew
and Timburr in one-star Raids only.
We will also be getting region exclusive Pokemon. Players living in North America, South America, and Africa will be able to catch the fighting-type Pokemon called Throh and get it from 10km eggs. European, Asian and Australian players (reports are coming in that Sawk is also available in the US from 10KM Eggs) will see Sawk the blue counterpart of Throh. Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Southern United States, and South America will get the grass-type Maractus, while Greece, Israel, and Egypt will get the Psychic flying-type Sigilyph.
Finally, the last division. The Eastern hemisphere will get the red-striped form of Basculin, while the Western hemisphere will see the blue-striped form of the same Pokemon.
