Avalanche Studios’ Harry Potter RPG May Have a Multiplayer?

Avalanche Studios was rumored to be working on a Harry Potter RPG title back in 2018. Now the rumors have elevated to something way more significant, and that is that the game may have a multiplayer, which will allow human players to settle on the fun together.

In the meantime, Avalanche studios have posted new job listings that inquire about work on a Triple-A video game. Going in detail, the open place is seeking a network engineer/multiplayer programmer. That’s where the spark came from for writing this piece of article.

According to the description:

Avalanche Studios Stockholm is looking for a Multiplayer / Network Programmer who will work on our newest open world / sandbox multiplayer game. We have a long history of creating some of the most immersive, playful and procedural game worlds in the industry such as Mad Max, Just Cause 4 and Rage 2. With our next AAA title we are bringing our strong single player experience to life in open world multiplayer environments and this is where you come in.

The job also offers cooperation with the multiplayer engineer that worked on Just Cause 4, so a free experience notice is always welcomed. We also encourage you to see what it takes and maybe apply for the spot.

Even though it seems late for a Triple-A Harry Potter game, tides may turn around. It is one of the most beloved fantasy novels, and having a game based on the same would be very exciting to have.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
