Pokemon Go Battle League Leaderboard to Show the Top 500 Trainers in the World
The PvP feature in Pokemon GO, Go Battle League, will have a new leaderboard. This was announced by Niantic on Thursday, and they said that this new thing will start Friday, April 10th. This leaderboard will show the top 500 trainers which are participating in PoGO Go Battle League, as well as the league transitions.
According to Niantic, these rankings on the board will show the players who are on the 7th rank and higher, based on previous in-game ratings. If you have an inappropriate nickname, now is your time to change it, because Niantic will not tolerate is as of now. They will also implement a limited-time event which will be focusing on Marill.
This event is said to be starting on Sunday, April 12th, 11 a.m. and ending 2 p.m local time. This blue Pokemon will be appearing as a reward after the first and third wins of the Trainers in the Go Battle League Matches. The ones that have a Premium Battle pass, will have the chance to encounter Marill after every win. This “Go Battle Day” will also let players compete in 20 sets of PvP Battles starting at 12 a.m to 11:59 p.m Local time. Until now, Marill could be seen by spawning in the wild.
This new leaderboard is good for the first 500 players, but the rest of the players will not care about this new implementation. It would be nice if you could see your place on the worldwide leaderboard.
