Fortnite’s Season 3 Launch Date Gets Delayed – Live Event Scheduled for June 6

Epic Games has decided to postpone the start of Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 3 to June 11. That means the life of Season 2 will be extended until the launch date for Season 3 arrives. The delay was confirmed in a small blog post by Epic Games, which states the prolongation of the current season.

Furthermore, this delay drags the upcoming live event to a delay as well. The new date for The Device, or so known the Doomsday live event is set for June 6.

In an effort to get everything ready for Chapter 2 – Season 3, we’re extending Season 2 by one week. The new launch day of Season 3 will be Thursday, June 11. Also make sure to check out a one-time-only live event called The Device, now scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 2 PM ET (please show up 30 minutes early to help secure your spot, space is limited!).

What happens next? There’s nothing else but to wait for the kick-off of the live event, which contents could probably discover additional connections with to the upcoming third Season of Fortnite’s Chapter 2.
