Pokemon Go is Officially Getting Mega Evolutions in 2020

Trainers, we have HUGE news for you all! Mega Evolutions are coming in Pokemon Go this year.
Pokemon Presents video presentation is over, and as announced by The Pokemon Company, the game is officially getting Mega Evolutions in 2020. In addition, feel free to watch the video below and get HYPED!
They didn’t reveal any details about the Mega Evolutions, but they did say that they’ll do something different with Pokemon Go’s Mega Evolutions.
Mega Evolution is a temporary transformation affecting Pokemon that was introduced in Generation VI. Mega-Evolved Pokemon are identified by having “Mega” in front of their name.
There are 46 species of Pokémon that are capable of Mega Evolution, and there are 48 different Mega Evolutions.
