Pokemon Go Grosses $3.6 Billion Since it Launch

Four years have already passed since the release of a game that lets you become a pokemon trainer in real life. Of course, we are talking about Pokemon Go.
The game that became an instant trend in the gaming community and a phenomenon worldwide that built a huge player base almost instantly. The people that were the most excited were the Pokemon fans and there were a lot of them.
As said before this game gave the option of players capturing Pokemon and battling with them. Recently it was the game’s 4th anniversary, more precisely it was yesterday. There are ongoing theories with the player count of this insanely popular game and as an answer to them, we got the exact lifetime revenue of the game – and that number is a whopping $3.6 billion dollars!
More exactly the game generated $832.5 million dollars during its first 6 months of release and in 2019 it got $905 million dollars on a worldwide scale.

But we’re not here. Niantic and Pokemon Go revealed that they’ve sold more than 700,000 tickets for the Go Fest event and they’re planning to release more features, events, and more in the near future.
