The beloved game of Tetris from N3twork inc. has been updated to feature other ways of playing: Tetris Together, a mode that lets you create and share your levels with family and friends; Tetris Primetime, a daily game show where you can compete for cash prizes; and Tetris Royale, a 100-player battle royale mode.
The Primetime game mode is described as a mix between a gaming tournament and a live television game show. But the difference is that this will be much more hyped because of the $1 million prize pool.
Primetime will be hosted every evening at 7:30 pm by actor and presenter Millen Baird. It will be hosted in your closest anchor cities. Auckland, Perth, Moscow, Berlin, London, New York City, and Los Angeles are the current anchor cities. In Tetris Royale, you will be battling out with 99 other players to prove who is the best out of all. And to show that the scores will be highlighted in the weekly rankings. And there is the more vanilla Tetris experience in the solo marathon mode whereas by the name suggests you are playing single player.
Neil Young, founder, and CEO of N3twork came out with a statement to their Tetris title. “We’ve kept the gameplay that you remember, and have infused it with the competition, communication, community and an incredible global, daily game show with cash prizes,” “We think Tetris has the opportunity to be bigger than ever before as fans around the world can now play in both familiar and exciting new ways.”
The Battle Royale mode that brings N3twork’s Tetris is nothing too new for this day and age. An example is Tetris 99 who has proven to be quite mainstream for the Switch who shares a similar game mode. Still, nonetheless, every Battle Royale will have their own similarities and differences that set them apart.
The game is available for download on IOS and Android devices on the App Store and Google Play for no price at all. We wish you luck in your puzzle-solving!
