Trainers, Mega Gengar is coming to Pokemon Go during this year’s Halloween event as confirmed by Niantic and Pokemon Go.
Mega Gengar will be available during the Halloween event 2020, which will most likely begin sometime in October 2020 (most likely the last week of October).
Mega Gengar will not be available in the wild nor in Raids during the Halloween event, but via exclusive timed Research that will be available to players across the globe only if we succeed to complete the Mega-Evolution themed Timed Research first.
There is no info if we’ll get a chance for Shiny Mega Gengar, but this would definitely make the players happy.
The Mega-Evolution themed Timed Research will go live starting on September 1, 2020.
