Once again, PlatinumGames and Hideki Kamiya ensure the public that the development of Bayonetta 3 is on the right track. We’ve heard it multiple times, and it won’t hurt hearing it again, but why? In a recent interview with GameXplain, the developer has stated that the progress of Bayonetta 3 is “going well.”
For those unfamiliar with Bayonetta is an action-adventure hack and slash game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
From really well, to smoothly, to going fine. Is the title on the brink of cancelation? Apparently, on the question about the development progress of the Bayonetta series, Kamiya said the following:
It’s going fine.
Just like the rest of the world, the development team is pushed to work from home due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The pandemic has brought a rough time for multiple developers across the globe. According to the interview which was posted on YouTube:
We’re working from home, we’re trying to do what we can to get to kind of work with this new work style.
still very early and I think that how well we’re able to adapt is really going to show how we can, you know, not with just this situation, but with any other situation to pop up, as a company it’s a challenge for us.
