Destiny 2 Is Coming To Next-Gen Consoles This December

Bungie has officially revealed that Destiny 2 will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 8th. It’ll run at 4K/60FPS for PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the Series S version will only run at 1080p/60FPS. However, every edition will have faster loading times and other improvements and tweaks. All owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One will be allowed to transfer their progress.

Destiny 2 is an online multiplayer FPS developed by Bungie. It’s similar to Warframe and the first Destiny game, including futuristic combat and weaponry, and different types of alien races. When it first got released back in 2017, it didn’t do too well, but after Bungie have separated from Activision and have made the game free, their player numbers started snowballing.

In the meantime, Destiny 2 fans can wait for Destiny 2: Beyond Light, an upcoming expansion for the game that’ll dive deeper into the game’s story. It’s scheduled to release on November 10th for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Stadia.
