Genshin Impact Earns $100M In the First Two Weeks of Launch

Genshin Impact, the new action-RPG title that has shaken the world, is still on the rise. The free-to-play game has currently reached new heights, and it’s likely to support its path. The Chinese mastermind and developer of Genshin Impact has reached a new milestone, generating $100 million in the first two weeks of launch.

Mobile Gamers also have the chance to experience this hugely popular and eccentric title, alongside the PC and PS4 users. As we said, Genshin Impact might be free-to-play, but its catchy microtransactions seem to stand out. Mentioning that, not everyone thinks that they’re sort of obtrusive. Instead, that’s where the revenue comes from since Genshin Impact is a free-to-play title.

Daniel Ahmad, senior analyst at Niko Partners who tends to cover the video game industry in China and Asia, has confirmed that Genshin Impact has grossed over $100M in less than two weeks of launch with China, Japan, Korea, and the US as top markets for the F2P title.

Even if the game is not considered for a full open-world MMO of the caliber such as WoW, people still tend to book and secure a quite overpowered character, which could be quickly deemed with the Microtransaction support.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. My mission is to lurk and discover secrets, create guides and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, patch notes too. I mostly play FPS and love experimenting in good MMORPGs.
