Marvel’s Avengers Next-Gen Versions Have Been Delayed to 2021

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have delayed the next-gen editions for their recent game, Marvel’s Avengers, until 2021. However, you will play the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S via backward compatibility. Scott Amos, studio boss of Crystal Dynamics, wrote:

…you’ll be able to continue playing the current-gen (PS4/Xbox One) Marvel’s Avengers game on next-gen platforms to take advantage of their powerful hardware, be it via inserting a physical disk or redownloading the game. Two of the most obvious benefits of this are improved frame rates and faster loading times. In addition, players who make the jump to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S will still be able to play co-op with their friends on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One respectively as well as carry their existing save-game forward to the next-generation of consoles!

Marvel’s Avengers’ upcoming character, Kate Bishop, has also been delayed to arrive this month, and Hawkeye was supposed to follow up.

Marvel’s Avengers is an action RPG brawler available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC, featuring the Avengers. According to Marvel fans, the game was released back in August, but it didn’t live up to its high hopes. However, it’s starting to improve with further updates, and in 2021 it might just be the superhero game everybody wanted.
