Pokemon GO November 2020 Special Weekend events

Trainers, Niantic, and Pokemon Go, will be holding Special Weekend events in November 2020 in the US, Mexico, and Japan. These are exclusive in-game events accessible with a ticket containing a redeemable code on Pokemon GO’s offer redemption website. It can be obtained from a participating Pokemon GO partner.

The Pokemon Go Special Weekend events will bring new Timed Research, Special Pokemon from Incense, and Special Pokemon spawning in the wild. Niantic has posted the specific details on their official website, including the time span of the events.

The event and partner flow is as follows:

• In the United States, Verizon, and Grubhub
• 7-Eleven Mexico in Mexico
• Softbank and 7-Eleven Japan, and Matsumoto Kiyoshi in Japan.

These events will occur on Saturday, November 7, 2020, and Sunday, November 8, 2020. Note that you can redeem tickets from multiple participating partners if you’re eligible to participate in numerous Special Weekend events!

• Grubhub: Sunday, November 8, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time

Features

• Timed Research will be available for ticket holders during the event times. These research tasks will provide you a chance to encounter Pokémon such as Chansey, Sunkern, Mawile, Spoink, Bronzor, Gible, and Sewaddle, as well as earn items such as Incense, a Star Piece, and Charizard Mega Energy!
• Special Pokémon will be attracted to Incense, such as Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Pikachu, Sableye, Patrat, Minccino, Ferroseed, and various forms of Unown. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny Ferroseed!

• As a note, Shiny Unown will not be available during these events.
