This is definitely the year when the console fever is at its highest. PS5 and Xbox Series X are coming to us very soon, so the world is going completely crazy for them.
Due to the craziness, GoHastings decided to show how much the people on Twitter are actually interested in the next-gen consoles. Based on around 200.000 tweets and usage of key hashtags, it seems like people are more interested in PlayStation 5 rather than Xbox Series X. There is also a state breakdown, in which 28 states are PlayStation 5 fans, while the other 22 states are interested in the Xbox Series X.
It is obvious that Sony is the “king” (or “queen”) of consoles and that they are making sure to extend their leadership they have gotten with the PS4. Of course, Redmond, Washington, the home state of Microsoft is a fan of the Xbox, while San Mateo, California (Sony’s PS Headquarters) is sticking with the PS5.
Xbox Series X will see the light on November 10th, while PS5 will be released on November 12th.
