It seems like there is a delay in shipping the Xbox and PS5 consoles. A Reddit user has decided to inform us about the situation Amazon is currently, and what should we do if it is delayed.
First, he informed us that PS5 orders will be delivered either on that same day or close to the release day. As for Xbox Series X orders, anyone who ordered it on September 22nd, they will have it when inventory is available, which will come to the warehouses from today and until December. Because of this, Amazon has a plan of completing every order by December 31st.
The Reddit user advised us to not cancel the orders because Amazon might fix everything and start shipping right away. They also said to not contact Amazon, because the ones that will answer your calls/chats do not know anything.
The great thing is that the shipments are shipped with Amazon’s shipping service so you will receive a notification before delivery. The main thing is to sit still and wait, but if you do not want to do this, you can try to secure a launch-day from other retailers that will be doing the launch-day orders.
