DeeJ from Bungie has moved to Iron Galaxy!

Famous Bungee staff member David “DeeJ” Dague left Bungie earlier this year, and now he has arrived at Iron Galaxy. The studio announced that Dague, the former communications director at Bungie, will be the head of communications for Iron Galaxy as it begins work on a new IP. Not much is known about Iron Galaxy’s upcoming IP, but it’s apparently going to be a melee combat game for PC and consoles. DeeJ stated:

Video games bring people together in the spirit of friendly competition… …This opportunity with Iron Galaxy is a chance to welcome players into a community that we will build with them. There is nothing more exciting than witnessing players discover a brand-new game and come together to define its culture. I’m thrilled to be tackling these challenges with my new teammates.

For those unfamiliar with Iron Galaxy, it has previously helped develop titles such as Overwatch, Diablo III, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Founded in 2008, it’s still a relatively newer studio with an ambition to rise.

With that being said, we all hope that DeeJ will have a fantastic time at Iron Galaxy, especially because of his contribution to the Destiny franchise and community.
