PS5 Scalper Group Annoys Fans by posting their overall profit

The fans of the PS5 console have gotten up on their feet against one PS5 scalper group. Since the launch of the PS5, multiple PS5 consoles have been sniped with an aim to resell them for a higher price. Those people that do that are known as scalpers, which usually gain a considerable profit by doing that. Now, combined with the stock shortage and other issues, you could imagine how bitter consumers would get by just realizing this.

Without any shame, a scalping group named CrepChiefNotify has posted on their official Twitter profile the whole profit they’ve managed to gain by just reselling the consoles. The scalper group based in UK, managed to gain over 1,000,000 million pounds in profit, with over 2500 units sold. It’s amusing to realize how they managed to stockpile a high number of PS5 consoles. However, Fans haven’t missed their opportunity to respond and show their frustration.

This story is likely to continue in the same fashion. As an insult to injury, Sony’s president Jim Ryan has revealed that absolutely everything is sold, which makes people think twice about buying their PS5 console “second-hand”. Not only that it’s not coming directly from Sony’s storehouse or official retailers, but the price is a lot higher than the normal MSRP.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
