With other titles receiving enhancements for the next-gen consoles, Rare announced today that Sea of Thieves would be among them. According to the Twitter post from Rare, Sea of Thieves will run at 4K/60FPS on the Xbox Series X, while the Series S will support only 1080p/60FPS. The game will get other improvements as well, including faster loading times.

Sea of Thieves is a 2018 action-adventure game developed by Rare and published by Xbox Game Studios about pirates from different lands, all going out on voyages to become as iconic as they can.

Players get to fight each other in immense naval warfare, but they can also go up against different types of sea creatures. Sea of Thieves is currently available for PC and Xbox One.

The game got released two years ago in 2018, and it has maintained a great player count ever since. It’s still a very stable title for Microsoft. Stay tuned for more updates on further game improvements!
