Stardew Valley Update 1.5 to release for consoles in early 2021

Stardew Valley is a simulation role-playing video game developed by Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. It was released for Microsoft Windows in February 2016, and later for macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, iOS, and Android.

Its most recent Update 1.5 got released for PC, and it was a big hit. The update features new farm types, randomized community center upgrades, split-screen co-op, new crops & animals, and a lot more content.

According to the solo-developer ConcernedApe, Update 1.5 will arrive for consoles in early 2021. He speculates that it’ll release before the end of January, but it’s still not guaranteed. The mobile version still has no estimated release window yet.

Even though one person initially developed it, Stardew Valley has found much success in the indie sim industry. The game has a 10/10 on Steam, and it’s one of the most iconic indie games to date, with continuous support from fans. Stardew Valley is a must-play game if you’re into indie games and simulation games.
