Super Meat Boy Forever’s release date has finally been announced

After 6 years of development, Team Meat has finally given us an official release date for Super Meat Boy Forever. During the Game Awards 2020, a new trailer was revealed for the game, showing us that Super Meat Boy Forever will officially launch on December 23rd for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices. That’s just two weeks from now!

Super Meat Boy Forever is an indie platformer, serving as the sequel for the highly-successful first game – Super Meat Boy. It’ll still keep the same feel from the first game, with many other features as well. The levels are much larger, and a level editor is planned to arrive post-launch.

Super Meat Boy Forever is also supposed to get a DLC pack that ups the difficulty to the extreme, too. We’ll get more announcements regarding the game in the future after it gets launched in two weeks.

The 6 years of development have been filled with ups and downs. For now, Super Meat Boy fans can be happy that they’ll finally get their long-awaited sequel after such a long wait.
