Upcoming Survival Horror Game The Callisto Protocol gets uncensored and extended Cinematic Trailer

The Callisto Protocol is an upcoming third-person survival horror game scheduled for release in 2022. The game is being developed by the studio Striking Distance, founded by Glen Schofield, who had previously co-created the Dead Space series.

Today, the game got a brand new version of its cinematic trailer, and now it’s extended and uncensored, so you’ll be able to see the gore. You can check it out here, but keep in mind that it’s age-restricted.

The Callisto Protocol is set on one of Jupiter’s moons, Callisto, in the year 2320. The game challenges players to escape the maximum-security Black Iron Prison and uncover its terrifying secrets. A blend of horror, action, and immersive storytelling, the game aims to set a new bar for horror in interactive entertainment.

We can assume that the game will be of the cosmic horror genre from what we already have. There’s still no official release date, but it’s estimated to release somewhere in 2022.
