Pokemon Go Sinnoh Celebration Event Start Date, Wild Spawns, Eggs, Raids and New Shiny Forms

As you know, currently Niantic is celebrating the Pokemon Regions by dedicating a whole week to them with spawns and Special Researches.

Last week, we celebrated the Unova Region, with Timed Research and increased spawns of Unova Pokemon. As the week is ending, Niantic announced that the next region in the spotlight will be the Sinnoh Region.

Starting January 12th, 10:00 a.m. local time, we will notice an increase of spawns of Pokemon originally discovered in the Sinnoh Region. The Sinnoh Region celebration week will end on January 17th, 8:00 p.m. local time.

The featured Pokemon of this week are Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Bidoof, Cranidos, Shieldon, Combee, Buizel (and its Shiny form), Drifloon, Glameow, Purugly, Hippopotas, Skorupi, and Snover. Hatching from 5km Eggs will be the following Pokemon: Kricketot, Budew, Cranidos, Shieldon, Bronzor, Bonsly, Hippopotas. The new 3-star Raid Bosses will be Lopunny, Hippowdon, Toxicroak, and Lumineon, and in one-star Raid, we will be getting Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Shinx, Buizel, and Gible.

During the Unova week, we had a Collection Challenge that turned out to be fun for us, so for that purpose, Niantic is doing the same challenge this week, but the rewards will be Stardust, Magnetic Lure, and 15 Ultra Balls.
