There is a rumor circulating in the gaming community that Avalanche Studios is working on an AAA open-world title that Xbox Game Studios announced back in November 2020.
You might not remember this, but back in November 2020, Xbox Game Studios Publishing has said that at the moment, they are working on a Flight Simulator and supposedly on “an exciting new AAA open-world title yet to be announced.” Their words, not ours.
Given the recent search of Avalanche Studios of an “Xbox Specialist/System Programmer to work on an open-world unannounced title,” we can not help but think that it is about the same title Xbox announced at the end of 2020.
This is just a rumor, it might not be that mysterious open-world game, it might turn out to be a different game.

Looking at other positions for the Avalanche Stockholm studio, they are working on an “unannounced open world AAA multiplayer game”. I’m likely connecting dots I should not, but my first thought was a finding from November 2020 related to XGS Publishing: https://t.co/YFxEsKfvPd
