Minecraft Dungeons hits 10 Million players

Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawler developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is a spin-off of Minecraft and was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on May 26, 2020.

Today, Mojang has announced that Minecraft Dungeons has reached 10 million players in a Tweet. They’ll also give out a special free pet and cape to celebrate this milestone:

Mojang wrote their thanks on their blogpost, but they also revealed some other milestones that were hit during the period in which Minecraft Dungeons has been live. Some of the most notable stats are: killing the Arch Illager for 5,934,629 times, 1141 YEARS spent in camping, killing the Redstone Monstrosity 7,044,521 times 19,511,994 attempts to its name.

The Minecraft Dungeons community has reached ten million players across all supported platforms! Ten. Million. Players. I don’t think any of us at Mojang Studios could have ever imagined that the community of our dungeon-crawler passion project would grow to this point… …you have made the game into everything it is today. We’re grateful and thrilled to be creating this game alongside you all!

Minecraft Dungeons is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
