The next season to be celebrated is announced, and it is called the Season of Legends.
By the name of the Season, it is clear that we will have many Legendary Pokemon and other legendary items. The celebration will start on Monday, March 1st, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
The Legendary Pokemon that will be debuting this season will be Therian Forme Tornadus, Therian Forme Thurndurus, and Therian Forme Landorus. Assessing by the post on Pokemon’s official website, there will be more Legendary debuts and new Mega-Evolved Pokemon. As for other Pokemon, there will be various Pokemon spawning in the wild, and there will also be an expansion of hemisphere-exclusive Pokemon in the wild.
The Northern Hemisphere will see Tangela, Combee, Croagunk, Ducklett, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. There will be an increased chance of having an encounter with Scyther, Dratini, and Cottonee. These players will also have Spring Form Deerling.
The Southern hemisphere will have an increased chance of having encounters with Mankey, Yanma, Buizel, Woobat, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott. Just like the Northern Hemisphere, this one will have an increased chance of encountering Pineco, Bagon, and Ferroseed. They will also have the Autumn Form Deerling.
There is an updated Hatch list for this season, and from 2km Eggs, we will have Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip Budew, and many more. The 5km Eggs will give us Drowzee, Azurill, and Munna, while 10km will have Nincada, Alomomola, and many more. We will also have a Season of Legends Special Research, which at the end of it, we will get Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus Candy.
We will have increased XP from five-star Raids during this season, and from time to time the game will award us free Remote Raid Passes. Niantic has teased that many more Legendary events will be coming as the Season of Legends is progressing.
We cannot wait to see what they have in store for us during these Legendary times.
