Tiamat has entered SMITE’s Battleground today

Tiamat is an Ancient Babylonian Goddess, known as the primordial Goddess of the salt sea. Many sources link her with the symbol of primordial destruction and chaos. She’s often described to have the look of a dragon or a sea serpent, but most pop culture associates her with a Dragon Goddess look.

Tiamat is SMITE’s 113th god and the first god of Season 8. She takes on the role of a more aggressive hybrid-focused mage with a versatile god kit. She also has 13 different abilities that are all accessible through her different forms. As a battlemage, Tiamat is great in Mid and Solo, has an amazing Jungle clear and gank potential, and enough CC to become a Support. She was released earlier today on Titan Forge’s live client.

The Dragonic queen has been one of the most anticipated SMITE releases of recent times, and her kit is amusing. Next up on the list is Gilgamesh, the Sumerian King of Uruk, the second entry in the Babylonian Pantheon after Tiamat.
