Marvel’s Avengers from Crystal Dynamics did not receive the likes of many, so for that purpose, the studio appears to be hiring new staff in the hopes of fixing this.
Besides trying to make things right, it appears that Crystal Dynamics has a new game up to its sleeve. Judging by the new job listing, we do hope that they have a game in development:
Join now to be part of the formative stages of a new AAA game being built in our Redwood City studio, just south of San Francisco
The job listing showed that besides other roles, they are looking for a Camera Designer. In the description of the job listing, the studio said that the game is still in the “Formative Stages,” meaning that the game is at the very beginning of its development.
There are many hints that this new game in development is the next Tomb Raider game, like Square Enix holding a showcase called “Square Enix Presents.” There is also the fact that this year will be the 25th anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise.
