The new Pokemon GO loading screen is already live, and we can see many Pokemon that we have been waiting to see in the game. From big to small, every Pokemon shown on the loading screen can be a vital member of our Battle Teams.
We can spot many Pokemon that we are excited about, such as Xerneas and Aromatisse, but the one that is wanted among the Pokemon GO community since the beginning of the game back in 2016 is the last Eevee evolution, the Generation 6 Fairy-Type Intertwining Pokemon called Sylveon.
On the loading screen, we can spot a small silhouette of the Pokemon and its bow-like ears, waiting patiently to greet us. There are speculations that as with every Eeveelution, the pink Pokemon can be evolved with a name change that is not known yet. However, there are speculations circling around that we might have to name our Eevee Serena or Penelope to evolve it into Sylveon.
Here is why we think we might have to use the above-mentioned names.
For Penelope: Sylveon is Penelope’s partner Pokémon. It proved to be a skilled battler when it went up against Ash’s Froakie. It was able to defeat the Bubble Frog Pokémon by infatuating it with Attract and finishing it off with Draining Kiss.
For Serena: Serena and Eevee attended a dance party hosted by Monsieur Pierre with Clemont and Bunnelby as their partners. She was upset because she couldn’t go dancing with Ash. But when she battled alongside Ash against Miette and James, her Eevee began to evolve into Sylveon. Serena’s Sylveon was the second Pokemon that Serena caught in the Kalos region, and her third overall.
As reported by CommunityGoNews Twitter, apparently, Eevee will evolve into Sylveon with a special fairy lure that will soon be added to the game. The debut of this item will be through Professor Willow’s discoveries/research which will lead us to the evolution of Eevee to Sylveon.
It is fun to know that, in the original games, this Pokemon can evolve through Friendship and Affection, a fact that makes Sylveon even more adorable than it already is.
There are many predictions for the name change evolution, but we would love to hear from you in the comments down below.
