Pokemon Go Team Go Rocket Hour Event

You may have come across the information about the new Bonus Hours that will come in Pokemon GO, so now we learned that Niantic will be conducting tests throughout the whole month of March. They will be taking place on Thursdays from 6:00 P.M. local time, and the first one will be happening today, March 4th, 2021.

Every Bonus Hour will have its theme, and the first one will be GO Rocket-themed. This means that the Team GO Rocket Balloons will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

Recently, a post has appeared on Reddit, explaining how the testing went in their timezone. The user going by the name u/theBobMM has scored this feature as 9 out of 10. They explained that during this hour, we will have one balloon appearing every twelve minutes, which is 6:00 P.M., 6:12 P.M., 6:24 P.M., 6:36 P.M. and the last balloon will be appearing at 6:48 PM. As you know, from five battles with Grunts, you will almost have one Rocket Radar.

The user has said that if you choose to back out on this, it will not affect your gameplay at all, and it does not change all spawns (unlike Spotlight Hour). As with every feature, the user stated that there must be some improvements, and he chose to say that Niantic should make the balloons appear every ten minutes, which will result in a full Rocket Radar after the event ends.

Next, he mentioned that if they want to spice things up they could add Rocket Stops during the Bonus Hour Event.

Due to the differences in time zones our Bonus Hour has not arrived yet, but feel free to comment down below if yours already came and tell us how it went.

For last, there will be two more Bonus Hours in March. the next is going live on March 11 known as Mega Bonus Hour and the last is going live on March 18 known as Mega Raid Hour.
