Trainers, due to the issues during the pay-to-play Pokemon Go Tour Kanto event, Niantic and Pokemon Go will be hosting a new, makeup bonus event featuring new event-exclusive Timed Research, quests, rewards, and a free bundle.
Pokemon Go Tour Kanto Bonus Event is a three-stage Research and players must complete the given tasks to earn cool rewards. Only those who purchased a ticket will be able to access the Timed Research.
Tour Kanto Bonus Event Research Tasks and Rewards
Step 1
- Send 3 Gifts to Friends: x15 Ultra Ball
- Catch 20 Pokemon: x10 Silver Pinap Berry
- Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokemon: 500 XP
- Rewards: x500 Stardust, x1 Lure Module and 500 XP
Step 2
- Power up Pokemon 3 Times: x1 Poffin
- Earn 3 Hearts with your Buddy: x1 Super Incubator
- Evolve a Pokemon: x1 Lucky Egg
- Rewards: x1 Fast TM, x1 Charged TM and x15 Ultra Ball
Step 3
- Catch 10 different species of Pokemon: 1,000 XP
- MAke 10 Great Throws: x3 Silver Pinap Berry
- Complete 10 Field Research tasks: x1 Star Piece
- Rewards: x1 Elite Fast TM, x1 Elite Charged TM and x100 Mew Candy
The Kanto Tour Research will run from March 5, 2021, until April 5, 2021. Also, you must claim the free bundle of three Remote Raid Passes until April 5, 2021.
