Project Athia is now called Forspoken – New Gameplay Trailer

Square Enix has announced that the so far known Project Athia has changed its name to something else. Project Athia is now officially called Forspoken. As a celebration of the announcement, Forspoken received a brand new gameplay trailer. Forspoken is estimated to arrive on PC and PS5 in 2022. Sadly, we know nothing else but its release date year and a couple of other details.

The first indications of Project Athia first arrived in June 2021, when Square Enix announced a new adventure game developed by Luminous Productions.

Below you can take a look at the trailer, published by Square Enix. In Forspoken, players will be put in a body of a young woman living in a beautiful but threatening world. The trailer showcases brutal and entirely opposing creatures living in the same world as Frey, the leading in-game character. Hence, you as a player will most likely have to throw a couple of punches at them in order to persevere.

Athia is full of monsters, dragons, and overall treacherous activities to which Frey needs to answer. Judging by the trailer, having tons of magical abilities surely helps Frey fight against the scary but visually breathtaking monsters.

Forspoken is currently in development and will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PC in 2022. What do you think? Adventurous or not?

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
