Trainers, the Searching for Legends event is now live and players are reporting seeing new Season of Legends Special Research, tasks, rewards, Pokemon encounters, and other bonuses.
The Season of Legends Special Research is a five-stage Research featuring various tasks and rewards that one can complete at any given time.
The Searching for Legends event runs from March 9 at 10 AM local time, through March 14, 2021.

Step 1
- Catch 10 Rock-type Pokemon: x10 PokeBall
- Make 5 Great Throws: x10 GreatBall
- Transfer 10 Pokemon: x10 Pinap Berry
- Rewards: x500 Stardust, 1,500 XP and Kabuto
Step 2
- Catch 10 Ground-type Pokemon: x10 Hyper Potion
- Catch 5 Pokemon with weather boost: x1 Mossy Lure Module
- Take a snapshot of Landorus: x10 Landorus Candy
- Rewards: x500 Stardust, 2,000 XP and Drilbur
Step 3
- Catch 10 Flying-type Pokemon: x5 Max Revive
- Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather boost: x1 Fast TM
- Take a snapshot of Tornadus: x10 Tornadus Candy
- Rewards: x500 Stardust, 2,000 XP and Ducklett
Step 4
- Catch 10 Electric-type Pokemon: x10 UltraBall
- Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather boost: x1 Charged TM
