The game that we all know and love, Monster Hunter Rise, has successfully shipped nearly 5 million units for Nintendo all over the world. Capcom Co., Ltd announced this achievement today, and we are more than thrilled about it.
The whole Monster Hunter series is based on hunting (duh!) that make players battle monsters twice their size. It was firstly released back in 2004, and since then it became a hit among players that love action and excitement. Since its release, until December 31st, 2020, the game has successfully shipped more than 66 million units, and besides this, Monster Hunter has established a new game genre.
The new addition to the franchise is called Monster Hunter Rise, and it is currently a Nintendo Switch title only. The new title will have new monsters, actions, and together with the new Wirebug, the game will be more accessible to the public and it will allow the ones that decide to join the game, to travel on different terrains with an immaculate high speed and gain control over monsters that get on their way.
Capcom announced that they are having another addition to the franchise, called Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, which is described as a role-playing game, set to release on July 9th, 2021.
Until then, sit back and enjoy the comfort of your home, and be safe.
