Ubisoft Needs More Time To Reveal Far Cry 6’s Gameplay

Everyone is excited for Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6, the upcoming first-person shooter, and the Far Cry series’s sixth installment. In a recent tweet response, Far Cry 6’s game design director, Ted Timmins, revealed that more time is needed before Far Cry 6 is eligible for showing gameplay, at least “just for a bit longer.”

The first release date was slated for February 18, and shortly after the delay, Ubisoft revealed no prominent data or any excessive delays. Far Cry 6 is still missing in-depth details, such as gameplay reveal. Most of the fans start to believe that something’s boiling for too long, and the game would meet further delays. With the fact that Far Cry 6 is far away from revealing its gameplay stature, this could assign the projection of yet another delay.

Below you can find the official statement posted by Ted Timmins:

Far Cry 6 will be the latest installment to Ubisoft’s popular franchise. It was originally due to release somewhere in February 2021, but because of COVID-19, Ubisoft delayed its release window with no further information. Whether the company will proceed with the May release or delay it even further remains unknown.
