Days Gone Patch 1.02 Fixes Mouse Movement Issues

Days Gone, Bend Studio’s action-adventure survival horror video game, has received a brand new update on the PC platform, which deals with some known issues. The patch addresses its mouse movement and dead zone issues, which has diminished mouse and keyboard usage with its negative impact. Luckily, update 1.02 is here to encourage players to use them again, as they should no longer exist or be as tenacious as before.

PATCH NOTES AS PUBLISHED ON STEAM
Patch 1.02 for Days Gone on PC is now live! This patch introduces fixes for the mouse that has been reported by our community. You can find the full patch notes below. Please restart Steam and Days Gone to begin the update immediately.
  • Fixed camera issues when using a mouse
  • Fixed difficulties with the mouse feeling like there is a “dead zone”

Before this update, it was concluded that the game suffered from disorienting mouse movement, which has pushed players to use gamepads instead of using their mouse and keyboard on the PC platform. For that reason, Bend Studio was pushed to provide the PC community with an update that will resolve this.

The update is already available to download, and Bend Studio’s advice is to restart Steam in order to install the latest 1.02 patch.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
