Leak Suggests a Potential New Crash Release in September 2021

Do you remember how you could not wait for school to end just so you could play with that orange creature through the forest on your PlayStation? We do.

There is news circulating the internet that a new project related to Crash Bandicoot is already in the works and it may be in its final stages. We were led to believe that something is cooking in the long-running franchise Crash Bandicoot due to a certain Instagram post posted by the voice actor behind Crash Bandicoot, Scott Whyte. In the post, he said that he is working together with a fellow actor Lex Lang, or known to us as the voice behind Neo Cortex.

Besides this, there have been other leaks that hint at a new Bandicoot game, but we must remind you that nothing is officially confirmed yet, so do not believe everything you read.

First and foremost, the game is set to be teased at the upcoming SGF 2021 (Summer Game Fest). There will be some elements of Crash Bash where there are uses of the ball game and the crate throwing game. The art style of the game is the same as IAT, and the characters from NST, CTR, and IAT will be playable. You will also be given a unique chance of choosing which side you are on, the evil or the good side? It is totally up to you.

Apparently, this is a TFB project, mainly because a big chunk of the staff is currently working on Warzone. Other things that were mentioned were that the game will have an MTX and Battle Pass, and it will feature the Cross-platform feature.

The launch of the game will be on September 9th, 2021, on the 25th anniversary of Crash Bandicoot. It will be released across all platforms.
