Tripwire Interactive Implements ‘Next Gen Work Model’ Offering Maximum Flexibility

Tripwire Interactive implements a “Next Gen Work Model” that will allow studios and their members full flexibility and balance between in-office and remote work. The new work plan is starting immediately and will allow Tripwire employees to come out with their own individual plan of work, satisfy their own variation of choosing, whether fully in-office or fully remote.

The company’s adaptation to physical restrictions due to the recent pandemic allowed the company to realize the great benefits of offering remote work but also found that employees were missing the benefits of on-site work. This is the reason why Tripwire Interactive is creating this work model that offers a variety of choices and pleasant outcomes for each developer. Tripwire Interactive expects the changes to foster a more productive and creative environment.

According to the official press release:

Tripwire Interactive, developers of the Killing Floor, Red Orchestra, Rising Storm and Maneater franchises, and Tripwire Presents, the publishing division that focuses on releasing great games from other independent studios, including Chivalry 2, Espire 1: VR Operative and Road Redemption, today announced the implementation of their innovative and exciting Next Gen Work Model, a new hybrid work plan that will allow all members of the studio full flexibility in designating the balance between in-office and remote work. Starting immediately, the Next Gen Work Model will allow Tripwire employees to create their own individual plan with the option to work hybrid in-office and remote in any variation of their choosing, fully remote, or fully in-office. By offering fully customizable hybrid, in-office and remote work opportunities, employees at Tripwire can choose to create a work plan of their own that best suits their personal and professional needs.

“By allowing flexible hybrid on-site/remote work plans we’re providing the best of both worlds with the collaborative and relational benefits of in-office work and the quality-of-life benefits of remote work. With offering these flexible hybrid, full time remote, and full time on-site work options we’re serving the desires and needs of next generation teams.” said Tripwire CEO John Gibson.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
