The Pokemon Company has hit a record in the fiscal year that ended on February 28th.
For the first time since the beginning of the company, we have a full breakdown of its financials for fiscal 2020, and it is the following numbers.
In sales, The Pokemon Company racked up 120 billion yen, which is $1.1 billion. For operating profit, they profited 27.8 billion yen, which equals $254 million and the net profit for the fiscal year of 2020 is 18.6 billion yen, or $170 million.
This information comes from the Japanese government’s Official Gazette, and we are quite surprised that they decided to show the numbers to the public, since The Pokemon Company is a private company, thus it is not obligated to tell its financials.
Judging by these numbers, TPC has a 21.2% net profit increase.
