Chivalry 2 Sold 1 Million Units Since Launch

Torn Banner Studios, the multiplayer first-person medieval slasher Chivalry 2, is proud to announce its most recent milestone. Since the game’s launch in June 2021, Chivalry 2 has sold 1 million copies across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. According to Torn Banner Studios, Chivalry 2 is the fastest-selling title ever released from its rows. As a celebration, the developer has provided some stats achieved by the players.

Chivalry 2 launched exclusively on the Epic Games Store, skipping the previously attended Steam platform. With this reach, it’s safe to say that medieval multiplayer slashers have proven to be quite an intriguing sensation among fans. Big numbers support the game’s flow, as tons of knights have participated in battles, as statistics provided by Torn Banner Studios show.

The official interaction data provided by the developer can be found in the image below:

A whopping 420 million knights have been liquidated in over 8 million total hours played in Chivalry 2.

According to the official press release, Steve Piggott (president of Torn Banner Studios) and John Gibson (CEO of Tripwire Interactive) have given statements on the recent milestone.

“Despite just launching in June, over a million people across five platforms have already played Chivalry II, which tells us how much more potential the game has to grow. We are so happy to have brought Chivalry II’s unique experience of bloody, epic medieval warfare to so many people – and we’re already hard at work expanding the game much, much more.” – said Steve Pigott.

“Today, we’re thrilled to celebrate the amazing milestone of Chivalry II, selling over one million units in less than two months! We’ve been blown away by the response from players and critics alike, and the team is already hard at work on more great free content and adding highly requested features such as cross-platform parties.” – further continued John Gibson.

Chivalry 2 launched on June 8, 2021, and has reached the unreachable in only 2 months.
