The Doctor is in. Dr Disrespect, a known streamer who has recently gone through rough and turbulent waters on Twitch, was pushed to continue his streaming career on YouTube. DrDisrespect, also known as Herschel “Guy” Beahm, is finally going to fulfill his mission, as he’s planning to tackle the video game industry by creating an AA/AAA video game studio that has a “unique twist to it”.

From what we understand, based on the publishment on his official website, it seems that the company’s goal is to work with video game influencers such as popular streamers and get them involved in the game during its development. The company will nourish based on partnership with BoomTV and thoroughly inspect its moves during its early steps.

Currently, the company is looking for a qualified studio head, which responsibilities inquire to have the power to “change the game”. DrDisrespect is a perfectionist. Knowing his character and watching his streams would bring you closer to believing in his effort in creating this studio. If you have built and run a gaming studio or publishing arm, understand what it’s like to hire, lead, motivate and support a team of gaming artists, designers and developers, love trying new and upcoming platforms and tech, can talk hours about core gaming loops, meta and are not afraid to dabble in data, then this might be the role for you. 

You will lead a team to build games, You will work within a fast-paced environment spearheading design, art, core gaming loops, meta, viral and retention loops and iterate monetization, go to market, integrated esports and influencer marketing.
