Far Cry 5 is Free-To-Play on Both Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect

Far Cry 5, the first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft, is free to play on two digital reseller platforms. One of them is the Epic Games Store, and the other one is Ubisoft Connect. If it confuses you, Ubisoft Connect is the new name of Ubisoft’s launcher, previously known as Uplay.

Far Cry 5 is the fifth main installment in the Far Cry series. The game takes place in Hope County, a fictional region of Montana, United States. The free-to-play period starts on August 5 at 6 AM PDT and will last through August 9, with preloading already available on both platforms.

Far Cry 5 is definitely one of the best games in the series, with tons of fun and excitement, especially when journeyed with a friend. There are countless limitless possibilities within the game, with strong exploration and other fascinating features. Sticking to the main story is one thing, but delving into the side missions and completing the objectives might imbue an even bigger fun.
