Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go compensate for the Shiny Unown issue that occurred on August 3, and August 4, 2021.

Back on August 3, and August 4, 2021, Unown U and its Shiny form were available from Raids, but sadly, players were not able to catch it.

Now, as announced by Niantic, players who participated in an Unown Raid on August 3, and August 4, will get a free box in the Shop. The free box will be available to claim until September 27, 2021.
