The Normal Type Gen 1 Pokemon Ditto it’s not like any other Pokemon. Ditto can take the form of other Pokemon and can be a big pain in the butt to find it, especially when it comes down to completing quests in Pokemon Go and you might end up getting stuck on that specific quest. So learning which Pokemon can be Ditto in disguise could be helpful.
A lot of players are ‘struggling’ to find Ditto in the wild and don’t know what Pokemon can be a Ditto. For that reason, I’ve decided to dig a little bit deeper and find the right answer.

Any clue to a cp range for ditto? Am I making a mistake not catching the mankey’s that are over 800 cp? Been searching for a ditto for months.
The two Ditto’s that I have both have the CP of 442 and 495
The one that I caught today has the CP of 495 which came from a Gulpin
Agree i cant locate a ditto have caught all the variables as many as possible with large amounts of pokeballs used.

Thanks for your comment. Ditto can no longer be disguised as Yanma, as they released its shiny form during the Safari Zone in Montreal and Ditto can’t be disguised as a Shiny Pokemon.
Are ditto no longer disguised as pidgey and rattata?
A ditto can not be a shiny. So any Pokemon that can be shiny can no longer be a ditto like Pidgey and Weedle. If anyone would like to trade I have 7 dittos would love some shiny.
With Weedle now being a shiny Pokémon should this one be removed from the list? I am still looking to capture a ditto for both a Field and Special achievement.

I have caught 2 dittos in 10 minutes the other night. I have 7, I seem to be real lucky catching them, but when it comes to shinys I find it impossible
