Diablo 2 Resurrected will receive NVIDIA DLSS Support shortly after launch

Vicarious Visions has shared something that may surprise the fans of Diablo 2 Resurrected. In a recent tweet, Kevin Todisco, the Graphics Lead at Vicarious Visions, revealed that the company had not ruled out the Nvidia GeForce DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology. Instead, it plans out on implementing it at a slightly later date via a post-launch update.

RTX owners would be happy at their favorite 4K resolution and still notice an excellent performance. But worry not, AMD users might be in for a treat as well. Many people are looking forward to playing Diablo 2 Resurrected, and FSR is the best option for those who want more performance on AMD GPUs. It would also make sense if Vicarious Visions adds support since this game isn’t that demanding overall, so there should still be an ample amount left over after all other settings have been met not to see any FPS loss or gain.

Below you can find the response made by Kevin Todisco regarding the NVIDIA DLSS support.

A complete revitalization of the classic 2D sprite-based game, Diablo 2 Resurrected takes advantage of modern technology and brings it to the present day with stunning 3D rendering. It packs dynamic lighting that is also available in 4K resolution for a more immersive experience! The up-to-date animations alongside revamped spell effects will have you feeling like your playing an entirely new title while featuring Dolby 7 audio support as well, so every single note rings evident throughout this world-class adventure.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
