Shiny Pokemon are the most wanted Pokemon in the mobile game Pokemon Go. These creatures are rare to find especially as wild spawns. This version has a different color palette than the regular version, and sometimes those colors can make a Pokemon look even cuter than it is.
To have a Shiny Pokemon in your collection is a blessing since it is extremely rare to get an encounter with these versions of the regular Pokemon.
You may be asking yourself, how will I know which Pokemon is a Shiny one? First and foremost, a Shiny Pokemon has different colors than the regular one, even though sometimes this difference can not be spotted right away. There is no difference in stats nor in battles.
Usually, you can get one through an encounter or a Raid, but this is very rare. There is no trick on how to get one, unfortunately, and it all depends on RNG.

This has to be an old article- updated 2021 with false information, I have all of these shinies, with completely different methods that supposedly don’t work, I literally caught a few weeks ago a shiny wild alolan grimer????
I also have 3 shiny clefairy but have yet to get a single shiny cleffa
This is the dumbest list I’ve ever seen. I have 9 shiny alolan grimer. It’s not rare at all… and it has been available in the wild many times. The one you listed as “least rare” is almost definitely more rare than the rest of the ones you mentioned. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

This article is WAYYYY OFF, almost seems it was written a year ago and republished; clefairy and Alohan grimer have been both available in the wild for a while now! and instead of shiny party hat nidorino being the LEAST rarest, how about the MOST , considering it was available for 3 hours and will likely never be again
Can’t be the rarest because Shiny Detective Hat pika shouldn’t even exist. They took a risk on a possible glitch & it worked. There’s only one that I know of.
But yeah it should definitely be higher on the list than “any hat pikachu”

Almost definitely an old article. I have almost all the supposedly rare ones (multiples even) and none of the least rare. Hell, out of four Alolan Marowak raids I got two shiny (very lucky, yes, but shows they aren’t that impossible to catch).

Wow, that’s amazing it must be nice because I seriously only have 2 shinys since beginning playing in June 2016, living out in middle of nowhere you don’t get a whole lot of good Pokemon here.

They’re not lucky, they obviously spoof. Anyone who cheats would have hundreds if not thousands of shinies at this point if they played enough.

Shiny Altoona Marowak aren’t that much different from regular Marowak. Their body is blue, with their belly being black instead of gray. Also, For some reason, I have so few alolan shinies. Only 2 of them. One of them is Exeggutor, and the other is, surprise, surprise, a shiny alolan Grimer. However in all, I have at least 122 shiny pokemon, as mom and I may have transferred 1 or 2 cuz they were useless.
Never heard of an “Altoona” marowak….

I think your perfunction of the list is way off. I have 256 shining, And have several of the ones that’s on your list. These are a few that I think are rare:
1. Unknown
2. Mew
3. Stantler with the Bells
4. Delibird
5. Celebi
100s of thousand of people have Mew & Celebi. Not rare at all.
Stantler with bells has been available for two consecutive winter events – 10s of thousands of them floating around (I have 3 or 4 myself)
The Unowns I agree with although there’s tons of Gs & Os floating around. C is probably the rarest of the bunch
Delibird is available shiny that last few years. 10s of thousands of those floating around too..
I have every possible shiny in Pokemon go at the moment I have been playing since day 1 but the rarest shiny I have is probably shiny shadow metagross at 4256cp

The absolute rarest shiny at the moment has got to be the 5th Anniversary flying balloon Pikachu. If you missed the event you will NEVER see him again.
I got one but was disappointed that the balloons didn’t change in colour as well. 🙁
It’s not rare though because it was so easy to obtain. There’s 10s of thousands of them around.

I enjoy getting the shiny Pokemon but on Tuesdays they say you might catch a shiny Pokemon where I live at this only one poker stuff and it’s rare that you got to shiny one because a lot of the Pokemon don’t even pop up only a few of them but I got maybe at least three shiny Pikachu with hats

How do you even get Detective Pikachu and getting Pikachu Libre is impossible unless you’re one of those people who’s game magically spawns them 4 star pokemon all of the time like mine doesn’t. I’d rather have those than any shiny
I am one of the few that has a shiny Libre. Got it this season making Legend again (the only way to get it, that or have someone willing to trade it to you). I don’t have any shiny unown and in general no luck with the costume Pikachu so I’ll take this
I have well over 100 shiny Pokémon. They’re much easier to get in this game than literally any other Pokémon game. I don’t agree with this article.
I have played since the game started and I still don’t have kabuto or sableye along with several more that were released earlier. I finally got a magikarp after seeing 2000 and I think it took more that 1200 to get a swablu.
I have 2 shiny unknown so I dunno. Also have a shiny Zangoose. Shiny Regionals are fairly rare.

Assuming that once a shiny is released it is always possible to catch, shiny Meltan should be a given for all players since all you have to do is use the box every three days until you catch one. Every time you use it, you should be able to catch around 45 Meltans, maybe more.
I would love to write this kinda stuff for my clients and still get paid for it.

This list must be different bc the comments are so disconnected from what I’ve read. I think the current list is appropriate, but you have to add shiny flower crown happiny. It sits for 300 dollars in ebay, so is shiny rufflet. Also, shiny pika libre is not in the wild, you have to pvp your way into legend and then catch it and it’s a shiny chance. Pvping your way to legend is the most difficult aspect of the game.

I have some duplicate shiny pokemon, not sure which is the rarest. I do like my Celeby. Was shocked to get 2 different shinys in a day and another time to get 3 of the same pokemon shinys in the same event. Some are wild pokemon, some from eggs, some research or raids.
I have 72 shiny pokemon now, really sucks when you get a 0star shiny though ♂️ 3* Suicine, Articuno, Alakazam, the skull hat charmander and magic hat squirtle are my favorites plus Celebi but I think everyone gets shit Celebi? lol
