Pokemon Go Darkrai Raid Hour Guide

Legendary Raid Hour is another event that is loved among the Pokemon Go community. During this event Raids with a Legendary are sharply increased, giving us many chances of getting the perfect one.

Legendary Raid Hour usually happens on a Wednesday from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. During this one hour, you have several chances of engaging in a battle with the Legendary beast that is available at that moment, and right now, that Pokemon is Gen 4 Dark-type Mythical Pokemon Darkrai.

This Pokemon comes with the Sludge Bomb attack, and we have to say that it is a total nerve wreck to catch it after you defeat it in the ring.

As you know, you will have a limited number of Premier Balls, which limits your attempts at catching it.

Your greatest chance of catching it is when the ring is the smallest one. If you score this one, you will be getting an Excellent throw, which is the only way of catching Darkrai.

However, if you are not confident enough about the Excellent Curveball throws, make sure to aim for a Great Throw. Missing the ring is a complete no-no.

Darkrai is a creature that will constantly move on the catch screen, so take your time in learning its movements. As soon as it pauses, make that Excellent Curveball throw.

Berries are also tools that increase your chances of catching Darkrai. A Razz Berry makes it slightly easier, but a Golden Razz Berry is making it way easier than other berries. A Nanab Berry will calm the beast, while a Pinap Berry or a Silver Pinap Berry will give you extra candies for powering up Darkrai.

There might be a few escapes, but do not lose hope, you will eventually catch this Dark-Type Pokemon.

The last Raid Hour for October 2021 is right around the corner, so let’s see what are the best Darkrai counters.
