Battlefield 2042 Early Access unlocks tomorrow

The real release date for all the hardcore fans

The release date for Battlefield 2042 is this Friday, November 12. But that release date is not for everyone, especially not for hardcore fans and players of the Battlefield franchise. If you’re an EA Play Pro subscriber or pre-ordered the expensive versions of the game, such as the $90 and $110 editions (Gold and Ultimate), then you can play the game starting tomorrow. More precisely, tomorrow at 8 am PST is the exact time when you can start playing Battlefield 2042’s early access.

The only downside is that those who will join the battlefield a week later, November 19, will feel lonely and forgotten due to the fact that Early Access participants will have unlocked a bunch of weapons and weapon attachments, which is not that great considering they are just jumping in the game. Yes, this makes the actual release date be November 12 rather than November 19, and we cannot do anything about it.

When does Battlefield 2042 Unlock, and who’s qualified for playing?

The official Battlefield 2042 release date is on November 19. However, thanks to EA’s Early Access program, those who have pre-purchased the expensive versions of the game can jump in earlier. This also applies to EA Play Pro subscribers. But enough talking, when does Battlefield 2042 Early Access exactly unlock?

Battlefield 2042 Early Access unlocks on Friday, November 12 at 8 am PST, 9 am CET, 11 am MSK.

Those who have a non-pro EA Play subscription will still get the chance to jump in a 10-hour playtime session once the Early Access release kicks in. Once the 10 hour period is over, you will need to upgrade to EA Play Pro or purchase the game.

Where can you purchase Battlefield 2042?

Battlefield 2042 is accessible to multiple digital resellers. That is the Epic Games Store, Steam, and EA’s launcher, Origin. This is the first time Battlefield is joining the Epic Game Store, and we’re looking forward to seeing how many players can each of them contribute to the total player base.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers would also get the opportunity to delve into the Battlefield 2042 10-hour trial but won’t likely continue playing after because the whole game won’t be available at Xbox Game Pass at launch.

So, what’s your favorite content from the ones showcased so far by EA Dice? Is it Portal, or is it Hazard Zone? I am sure everyone is bored from the large-scale Conquest and is very eager to be jumping in something different. Now that the Portal Builder app is live and running, I wouldn’t be surprised to see something out of the ordinary too. See you in Battlefield 2042.

I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. My mission is to lurk and discover secrets, create guides and provide you with some important news. I mostly play FPS and love experimenting in good MMORPGs.
