As the end of the Season of Mischief is right at our doorsteps, Niantic will be giving us many surprises to celebrate the Mischief Pokemon along with a debut of a new Pokemon.
The event that will be hosted in honor of the Mischief Pokemon will begin on Friday, November 26th, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. will have 2x Transfer Candy and 2x Catch XP bonus and a Special Research linked to Hoopa. This Special Research will be available to those that managed to complete the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research story. To get access to the Mischief Special Research story, Trainers will have time to finish the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research story until December 1st, 2021, at 9:59 a.m. or purchase a ticket with a price of US $4.99.
Niantic has made clear that the tickets are nonrefundable, and if you want to progress in the new story, you will need to have Hoopa, which is the encounter featured in the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research story. The tickets will be available in the in-game shop until December 1st, 2021, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
The Hoopa obtained through the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research can change its form after the second task in the Mischief Unbound Special Research. The forms are called Hoopa Confined and Hoopa Unbound, and to change Hoopa Confined to Hoopa Unbound you will need 50 Hoopa Candy and 10,000 Stardust. On the other way around, to change Hoopa Unbound to Hoopa Confined you will need 10 Hoopa Candy and 2,000 Stardust.
The Raid hours during the event will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, and on the first Raid Hour that will be happening on November 26th, we will have Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. The next day, November 27th, as a Raid Boss we will have Heatran and on November 28th, we will have the chance to challenge Regirock, Regice and Registeel. On November 29th, the last Raid Hour of the event, Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion will come back in Pokemon GO as Raid Bosses. If you are lucky enough, you might encounter a Shiny version of these Legendary Beasts.
The Spotlight Hours will be happening on the same days as the Raid Hours but at a different time. From 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time, on November 26th in the Spotlight will be Rattata with its Shiny form, while the next day we will see Sableye more frequently in the wild along with its Shiny form. The next Pokemon that will be featured in the Spotlight Hour event on November 28th is Pikachu, and on November 29th, the last day, we will have Beldum.
There will be a new avatar item in the shop featuring Hoopa, which will be available even to those that did not finish the Special Research.
